About the Militia of Orthodox Knights
THE MILITIA OF ORTHODOX KNIGHTS
For those who have an interest in our charitable works or in our Order who is not an Eastern Orthodox Christian, can request entry into or secular Militia. The Militia of Orthodox Knights is a Sovereign, independent and secular service branch of the Orthodox Order of St. Anna. Members of the Militia are not granted automatic status within the Order of St. Anna. The primary purpose of the Militia (Milita, or Prayer) is financial support of the parent Order by way of honorary title in exchange for passage fees. Members of the Militia are granted full honorary rights to wear the regalia of the parent Order. The Militia remains independent from any and all religious institutions and as such is under the sole command of the Sovereign Regent.
